RV A/C Repair in Benson, AZ
Benson sits low enough in the San Pedro Valley that summer afternoons can push an RV air conditioner hard, and when one quits the rig gets miserable fast. Four A/C repair options serve the area, two of them mobile, and they average 4.7 stars across reviews. Two handle warranty work, which matters if your unit is still covered. Here is how the local lineup shapes up.

Shop or driveway
Two of the four Benson-area options are mobile techs, meaning they come to your site or storage lot. That saves you a tow and a wait, and it is often the smarter call for a unit that just blows warm air or trips a breaker. Mobile work has limits, though. A rooftop unit swap or a chase for a bad connection in the ceiling ducting may need a bay with a lift and shade. Ask on the phone what the tech carries. Capacitors, breakers and fan motors are common failures and easy to stock. Compressors are not, so a confirmed diagnosis first beats guessing at parts.
Who does what
Mescal Auto & RV Service carries the most reviews in the group at 158, rated 4.6, and lists A/C work plus chassis and emergency service. Oakley's Garage & Towing, 4.5 stars over 133 reviews, adds warranty approval and parts to the same mix. Elite Sales and Service, 4.5 stars on 119 reviews, runs mobile and handles warranty and parts too. Tucson Mobile RV Service & Repair is the small one, 5.0 stars on just 5 reviews, with mobile, roof and A/C work plus generator service. Few reviews means read them closely, but a perfect score on a handful is not nothing.
Before you book
Spring and early summer fill these calendars, so call ahead once the forecast turns. If your rig is under an extended warranty, confirm the shop will bill the provider directly and get pre-approval before anyone opens the unit. It saves an argument later. While you have someone on the roof, have them look at the sealant around the vents and the A/C gasket. A leak that shows up as a ceiling stain usually started up there. Two mobile techs in the area also cover roof work, which keeps it to one visit.

Questions people ask
How many RV A/C repair options are near Benson?
Four, according to the local listing. Two of those are mobile techs who come to you, and two report doing warranty work. The group averages 4.7 stars, so the odds are decent wherever you land.
Will a mobile tech fix my A/C at the campground?
Often yes. Two of the four Benson options are mobile, and simple failures like capacitors, breakers and fan motors are common on-site jobs. A full rooftop unit replacement may still need a shop bay, so describe the symptom when you call.
Which Benson shop has the most reviews?
Mescal Auto & RV Service leads with 158 reviews and a 4.6 rating, and it lists chassis and emergency service alongside A/C work. Oakley's Garage & Towing follows at 133 reviews and 4.5 stars.
Do I need warranty pre-approval before A/C work?
Get it if your rig is covered. Two Benson-area shops report doing warranty work, but approval before the repair starts is what keeps the bill with the provider instead of you. Ask whether they bill the warranty company directly.
