Johnstown, CO
RV Repair in Johnstown, CO
Johnstown sits right where I-25 meets US-34, so a lot of rigs roll through here and some of them limp in with problems. You get 4 RV repair outfits in town plus 12 more nearby, averaging 4.0 stars. Two of the local shops are mobile, which matters when your slide-out quits in a campground driveway and driving it in isn't realistic.

Mobile techs worth calling first
Two of the four Johnstown operations come to you, and both carry perfect ratings. Big Guy Mobile RV Repair holds a 5.0 across 85 reviews and handles A/C and awning work along with chassis and parts. Master Certified RV Repair also sits at 5.0 over 45 reviews, with roof and awning on the menu plus generator and chassis service, and they work weekends. That weekend availability is not a small thing when a leak shows up Saturday morning. Before anyone rolls a truck, ask whether the part is actually in stock. A mobile call where the tech arrives without the right awning arm wastes your afternoon and theirs.
Shops for bigger jobs
The two Campers Inn locations in Johnstown split into a collision center and a service center. The collision side rates 3.9 over 8 reviews and covers roof and A/C work alongside body, chassis, insurance and parts. The service center rates 2.2 across 21 reviews and handles roof and awning, with certified techs and warranty approval in place. Reviews there are thinner and lower, so read a few before you commit to a big repair. Roof work shows up at three of the four shops, which fits the Front Range hail and sun. Get the sealant checked before monsoon season rather than after water stains appear on the ceiling.
Warranty and insurance questions
One local shop lists warranty work, and both Campers Inn sites mention insurance. If a claim is paying, call your carrier for pre-approval before the shop starts tearing into a damaged sidewall or roof. That one call saves the argument later. For anything collision related, the body shop is the natural stop. For a dead A/C or a stuck awning, a mobile tech usually beats sitting in a service queue. Spring books fill fast around here, so call ahead even in the shoulder months.
