About BD Conversion Company
BD Conversion Company builds, upgrades, and services camper vans in Virginia Beach. They handle electrical systems, solar and dual alternator installs, awnings, and full conversions, and they also sell conversion vans. Reviewers keep coming back to the electrical work, mentioning things like redoing a Sprinter's 12V setup to make breakers easier to reach. People describe the team as easy to work with and straight about what a job needs. One reviewer said they suggested alternatives instead of pushing a full build, and another appreciated that the advice fit their budget. The owner is called knowledgeable and down to earth, and several reviews mention fair pricing and good communication. A few reviews highlight specific jobs: a motorized Fiamma awning on one van and a custom box truck build with battery banks and shelving. The shop has a 4.8 rating from 19 reviews. They stock parts and do awning service, so it's worth a call if your van needs electrical or awning work.
