About Break Free Conversions
Break Free Conversions is a van build shop in Buford, northeast of Atlanta and a bit over an hour south of Greenville. They convert client-provided Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, Ford Transits and Ram Promasters, both camper and commercial builds. The owner came out of armored vehicle engineering, and the shop leans on that for electrical systems, structural work and roof jobs. Services run from full custom camper conversions to partial builds: off-grid electrical installs, interior panels and floors, water plumbing, suspension upgrades, plus bumpers and roof racks. Reviewers describe the design phase as smooth and the owner as knowledgeable and easy to deal with. One customer had a window installed over a kitchen sink and came away happy with the whole process. Seven Google reviews average 5.0. People mention timely, thoughtful work and say they would trust the team with any vehicle. It is a small operation, so expect a conversation about your van and timeline before anything gets scheduled.
