About Campbell Engineering Boat and RV Mobile Services
Campbell Engineering is a mobile service, so the repair comes to your rig in Santa Barbara, Ventura or the Santa Ynez Valley. Layne handles diagnosis and repair on the common systems and leans hard into electrical work: lithium conversions, solar installs, and tracking down why the power quit. Roof, AC, awning and plumbing jobs are on the list too. RV owners keep mentioning how quickly he shows up, sometimes within an hour when a trip goes sideways. Reviews credit him with finding the real problem, like a seized tongue jack motor or a disconnected inverter, and explaining it in plain terms. He also gets called out for Airstream work and for fair prices. The shop sits at a perfect 5.0 from 30 Google reviews, with knowledgeable staff and diagnosing issues coming up most often. If your systems are acting up mid-trip, this is a name locals pass around.
