About Camping World - Berkley
Camping World in Berkley is a large RV dealer and supply store that also handles repairs. It's the kind of place you can walk into for a new travel trailer or just a replacement awning, and the inventory reflects that. With a 4.1 rating across about 1,590 Google reviews, most people leave satisfied, though a few point out long waits or service hiccups. Reviewers often mention the wide camper selection and staff who don't pressure you. Many shout out specific employees for walkthroughs and helping new owners get comfortable. One shopper called a staff member kind and patient, and another said the team made their first RV summer the best. The service department gets mixed feedback; a handful of reviews cite slow scheduling or communication gaps. Beyond sales, they offer financing, trade-ins, consignment, and a parts counter. If you're mid-trip with a broken roof or awning, it's a spot to check, but call ahead about appointments. For buyers, the no-pressure sales and walkthroughs are the draw. For repairs, go in with realistic timing expectations.
