About Cross Country RV Solar
Derek at Cross Country RV Solar is a mobile RV tech and solar installer who travels the country with his family in a 2023 Cyclone Toyhauler. He's NRVTA certified in RV solar and a registered RV tech, and he's been doing installs for two years. Based in Hillman, MI, the address is a family address, not a shop, so he comes to you. Reviewers keep coming back to his attention to detail. One said they sat and stared at their wiring bin with a smile after he left. Others mention lithium battery installs, Victron shunts, and new wiring that fixed undersized setups and tripping breakers. He also does A/C unit swaps, inverter work, and electrical system upgrades. He's available by phone for questions long after the install, and one reviewer appreciated that he answered calls a year later. The shop is open 24/7, and he handles emergency and roof work. He spends summers around Michigan and winters in warmer states, so timing matters if you want him locally.
