About Dixie Camper & Marine Sales Inc
Dixie Camper & Marine sits just outside the Charlotte area in Albemarle, selling campers and boats and fixing them too. The family-owned shop has been running since 1971. Alongside new Astoria travel trailers and G3, War Eagle, Sylvan and Yamaha boats, you'll find a selection of pre-owned units. There's a parts counter and service work covers things like AC and awnings. Reviewers tend to bring up the people. One buyer called Kathy a no-pressure salesperson who got them a good deal. Another said Jerry, the service manager, walks you through how everything works. A pre-owned trailer buyer noted the tech checked over every inch before pickup and had slide toppers installed on time. Others mention the place is small, and they felt treated better there for it. Not every review is warm. One camper owner listed ongoing problems with waterlines and AC units, and a deposit refund took two weeks and came with a charge. Weigh the good with the bad and ask questions before you commit.
