About Expedition Off Grid
Expedition Off Grid is a custom Sprinter and Ford Transit van builder in Bend that also handles repair work. Reviewers bring in vans for roof leaks, tripping outlets, diesel heater problems and electrical gremlins, and the crew tracks down the real cause instead of patching it over. Several people mention they had the same issue fixed elsewhere first and it came back. The electrical side comes up a lot. Folks describe power system work, 24v Victron setups, solar panel installation and battery diagnostics, often with clear estimates and parts and labor explained up front. One traveler stuck far from home with serious electrical trouble said the diagnosis and help got them back on the road. Attention to detail and diagnostics are the two things reviewers keep returning to. They also do suspension upgrades, hydronic heating, AC, window installation and metal fabrication, plus parts and accessories. One driver passing through Bend with a damaged ladder got a repair offer rather than a sales pitch. The shop has posted hours and a 5.0 rating across 80 Google reviews.
