About JKB Campers
JKB Campers is an RV repair shop on the Lafayette side of things, and the reviews suggest it earns its 4.8 stars from 70 Google reviewers the old-fashioned way. People write about walking in with a broken leaf spring or a trailer door hanging off the frame and getting back on the road the same day. One traveler heading from Chicago to Nashville had a door secured fast. A camper with a snapped spring says the shop called around for parts and had them rolling in about 4 hours. First-time owners come up a lot. Reviewers mention staff walking them through setup, testing the whole camper, and explaining what they were looking at. A sink leak got fixed with a handful of parts for 8 dollars. An awning bracket pulled loose at Prophet's Town State Park got drilled out and re-bolted, no charge. Brakes and bearing work show up in the service list, along with AC, electrical, body and trim, batteries, and awning installation and repair. Parts are on hand for some jobs. Folks are told to call ahead for an appointment.
