About Papago Vans
Papago Vans builds custom camper vans in Mesa, and that's the main thing to know before you call. The shop does full conversions and partial builds you finish yourself, plus interior and exterior work, electrical and solar, heating and cooling, and repair and maintenance on conversions already on the road. Roof, AC and awning work come up in what people ask about. RVIA certified, with Mercedes-Benz, Ford and RAM authorization and help sourcing a van. Reviewers go on about craftsmanship more than anything else, and quite a few mention their Sprinter builds. Weekly photo updates during a build get called out, and one owner said the sales side opened the warehouse on a closed day for a visit from out of town. Expect a long build. More than one reviewer says the wait was real but the finished van was worth it. If you want a repair on an existing conversion, weekends and warranty are mentioned, so ask what they can take on.
