About The RV Expert
The RV Expert is a small, owner-run shop in Decatur handling roof work, AC, awnings, slides, electrical, body and trim, fiberglass, and appliances. They also go mobile around Wise County and nearby, which helps if your rig can't make the drive. Reviewers keep coming back to the same things: the owner is honest, explains your options, and doesn't pad the bill on time. Several mention the staff genuinely caring, including one story about an elderly customer's AC going out in the heat. Others note fast diagnostics, a slide repair done by someone who understood the cause, and help with insurance claims and reports. The shop is active in the community and says it aims to make customers happy campers. One review stands out as a caution: a customer spent two months chasing an estimate on underbody damage. Most of the rest run the other way. If something's broken mid-trip, this is a solid place to start calling.
