About Authentic RV Service
Shane runs Authentic RV Service out of Shallowater, and the reviews keep coming back to the same things: he shows up when he says he will, explains what's wrong in plain terms, and doesn't cut corners. One reviewer called him "an angel straight from heaven" after he came out the same morning their trailer heater quit. Another with a broken shackle said he was at the RV park the very next morning. The shop handles the usual trouble spots: roof replacement, air conditioning, electrical, brakes, slide rooms, leveling systems, batteries, and insurance estimates. Mobile service is available, so you're not stuck hauling a broken rig across town. Reviewers mention roof inspections and heater repair, and several say the cost came in reasonable. What stands out is the follow-through. People describe him pressure-testing propane lines he wasn't asked to touch, cleaning out a furnace while fixing it, and swapping bushings on the other side of a trailer "for good measure." If you're broke down in or around Shallowater, this is the kind of shop that answers the phone and then actually shows up.

What renters mention
“Shane was able to fit me in to his busy schedule. My main slide with the refrigerator wouldn't not open properly. He was able to determine what was faulty. He replaced it with a motor I had on hand that another tech said was broken.” – Karen L., a year ago, on Google
“This young man is an angel straight from heaven! My heater in my travel trailer was not working and it is getting pretty cold at night. I live in this trailer so having heat is a must. He came out the very morning I called.” – Christy M., 9 months ago, on Google
“As noted repeatedly throughout these reviews, Shane was a true professional and very knowledgeable in repairing our 5th wheel today. He explained succinctly the issues and options regarding our axle and suspension issues.” – Scotty S., 11 months ago, on Google
