About Camper Commander LLC
Camper Commander sits in Collins, Iowa, and handles RV repair, restoration and remodeling. Big rig or small, they say they work on them all. Services listed include air conditioning, battery and electrical work, and reviewers also mention furnace repair, water damage and older units. The crew gets consistent praise for communicating. One reviewer said they always laid out the options and let the customer decide. Another came in fearing a thermostat problem and it turned into a multi-day, four-figure repair that the shop worked through with the manufacturer under factory warranty. Honesty and fair pricing come up more than once, and one owner called their rig better than new after an underbelly and tank job. There is a remodeling side too. One customer brought a 1966 vintage camper in with a vision for a coffee shop build, and the shop brought it to life. They take weekend calls, and a warranty mention appears in reviews. Rating is 4.9 from 58 reviews.

What renters mention
“Being from Missouri, we were going to visit my wife's mother and I realized that I had electrical issues, so was looking up RV repair shops and dealers and saw their logo of a lion, which I immediately thought of the Lion of Judah.” – Dan T., 4 months ago, on Google
“Ian and his crew are trustworthy professionals. I did a dumb thing and flooded my black tank, fortunately I had dumped and flushed day before this happened. Underbelly and insulation had to be removed and tank replaced.” – Sherrie W., 2 years ago, on Google
“Outstanding service! We came with what initially appeared to be a thermostat issue which turned into a 3 day 4 figure complex repair. Camper Commander worked tirelessly with Casita as we were under factory warranty.” – Chuck W., a year ago, on Google
