About Homefree RV Service and Solar
Josh at Homefree RV Service and Solar is mobile only, so he comes to you in Truckee and around Tahoe. He handles general RV repair, off-grid power and solar, battery upgrades, hitch receivers and lighting mods. Reviewers keep saying how knowledgeable he is, and they aren't wrong: he'll walk you through a lithium swap or a finicky furnace without pushing extras. One camper's awning wouldn't retract, and Josh showed up the same day after a full schedule to replace the gear and get it rolled up for the drive home. Another had a furnace dying on a ski trip; he diagnosed it over the phone, met them in Truckee the next day and fixed it. People mention leak repairs, electrical gremlins and solar systems that others couldn't figure out. He answers texts and calls, and he shows up when he says he will. Book online anytime. He works weekends when the schedule allows.

What renters mention
“Joshua's services have been invaluable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. We were very hesitant to switch from lead acid to lithium.” – Courtney W., a year ago, on Google
“Joshua was amazing to work with and would recommend his services. I was traveling as a ski bum trying to hit as many resorts I can when I was in South Lake Tahoe and my furnace was going out.” – Erik O., a year ago, on Google
“My family spent the weekend camping in Truckee, CA. When we went to clean-up and check-out, our RV awning would not retract. The awning motor plate gear failed, rendering the manual override also useless.” – Elisa B., 3 years ago, on Google
