RV Repair in Dothan, AL
Dothan RV owners know the drill: a roof leak shows up after a summer storm, the A/C quits on a 95 degree afternoon, or the awning refuses to roll up before a trip. Six repair shops sit in town, and another seven are within reach. Average rating runs 4.2, so you have decent options. Two of those shops handle warranty work, which matters if your rig is still covered.

What's around Dothan
Six RV repair shops call Dothan home, and seven more are a short drive out. That's not a big city menu, but it's enough to get most jobs done without towing to Montgomery or Birmingham. Four of the six handle A/C work, three do roofs, and two deal with awnings and slide-outs. If you need mobile service, you're out of luck in town, so plan to drop the rig off. Call first and ask what's on the schedule, especially in spring when everyone remembers their roof needs a look.
The shops worth knowing
Bama RV on the north side has the biggest review count by far, 656, and a 4.7 rating. That kind of volume means they've seen your problem before. Bama RV Service, a smaller shop with 27 reviews and the same 4.7, lists roof and A/C work and also handles generators and body repair. RV Connections Dothan sits at 4.4 with 430 reviews and does A/C, chassis, and parts, plus they're open weekends. Discount General RV & Premier Portable Buildings has a 4.3 across 55 reviews and offers warranty and insurance work.
Big names, mixed signals
Camping World on the Dothan loop carries a 4.2 from 1,435 reviews, which tells you they're busy and people have opinions. The separate Camping World RV Service location shows a 3.0 from just two reviews, so that's not much to go on. What matters more is whether the part is in stock. Call ahead and ask if they have the sealant, the A/C unit, or the awning fabric on the shelf. If not, get a realistic date before you leave the rig.

Questions people ask
How many RV repair shops are in Dothan?
Six shops are based in Dothan. Seven more are close enough to count as nearby options. Four of the six handle A/C repair, three do roof work, and two work on awnings and slide-outs.
Do any Dothan shops do warranty work?
Two of the six shops say they handle warranty work. If your RV is still under a factory plan, call ahead and confirm they'll bill the warranty company directly. Get pre-approval before any work starts so you're not stuck paying out of pocket and chasing reimbursement.
Is mobile RV repair available in Dothan?
None of the six Dothan shops list mobile service, so you'll need to take the rig to a shop. That's common here. Ask about drop-off times and whether they can look at it the same day if you're passing through.
What rating do Dothan RV shops average?
The six shops average 4.2 stars. Bama RV and Bama RV Service both sit at 4.7, while the Camping World service location has a 3.0 from only two reviews, so that number is thin. Read a few recent reviews before you book.
